Last updated: 21 September 2026

These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the website and services operated by storybeamra. By accessing the site or purchasing any course materials you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree you must not use the site or services.

Who operates the site and acceptance of the terms

storybeamra operates this commercial website from the United Kingdom. The site provides access to Course A, a storytelling and visual media guide that covers narrative structure, lighting direction, camera framing and smooth workflows for video stories and reports. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and storybeamra. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. You should review this document regularly.

Eligibility and permitted use

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under UK law to use this site or purchase courses. Use is permitted only for lawful personal or professional development purposes related to video production and storytelling. You may access purchased materials for your own learning but may not share login details or redistribute content. Commercial use of the course beyond personal skill development requires separate written permission from storybeamra.

Prohibited conduct

You must not attempt to copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works from any course content. You must not upload harmful material, attempt unauthorised access to systems or engage in any activity that disrupts service for other users. Breach of these rules may result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action for copyright infringement or other violations under UK law.

Accounts, submissions and user content

Some features require creation of an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure. If you submit feedback, project examples or other content you grant storybeamra a non-exclusive licence to use that material for improving services. You retain ownership of your original submissions but must ensure you have the right to grant this licence and that submissions do not infringe third-party rights.

Ownership of site content, trademarks and permitted limited use

All course materials, videos, guides, text and design elements remain the exclusive property of storybeamra or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to access purchased content for the duration stated at purchase. No trademark or copyright is transferred. You may not use the name storybeamra or any associated marks without prior written consent.

Third-party services and links

The site may reference or integrate third-party tools for video editing or hosting. storybeamra does not control these services and accepts no responsibility for their content, availability or practices. You use them at your own risk and should review their own terms.

Availability, changes, suspension and termination

storybeamra aims to keep the site available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms or for maintenance. Courses are provided on an ongoing access basis unless otherwise stated; refunds are subject to the separate refund policy displayed at purchase.

Disclaimers that remain subject to mandatory consumer law

Course A is provided for educational purposes. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, storybeamra does not warrant that the materials will meet your specific requirements or produce particular professional results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.

Limitation of liability

Subject to the above, storybeamra total liability arising from your use of the site or courses shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to all claims whether in contract, tort or otherwise but does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in the United Kingdom.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify storybeamra against any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or from your use of the materials in a manner not permitted by this agreement.

Governing law, courts and consumer dispute rights

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in the United Kingdom may also bring proceedings in their local courts. You may also use alternative dispute resolution services where available under UK consumer protection rules.

Severability, waiver, changes, contact route and last-updated date

If any provision is found invalid the remaining terms continue in force. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. storybeamra may update these terms; material changes will be notified via the site.
